The Holy Quran states

“Who is the one who would give Allah a good loan so that Allah multiplies it for him many times?
(Al-Baqarah: 245)”

The Holy Prophet [PBUH] said

“Reward for sadqah (charity) is ten times and reward for qard e hasan (interest free loan) is eighteen times”.
(Ibn Majah & Ibn Hisham)

The idea is that you find at least ten deserving people among your community, neighbours, underprivileged relatives, household staff or their close relatives, part-time servants, any acquaintances who have recently lost their incomes, or any plumbers, electricians, carpenters, washer men or gardeners that you may know, who are under financial burden due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. Give each family a loan (qard-e-Hasan). You can increase or decrease the number of people or families you want to support. These are not the people who are beggars or vagrants. After a month, In Shaa Allah, as the situation becomes favourable, the economy improves, businesses resume as usual and jobs are restored, these people will again resume their work and start earning again. By that time, these people will start repaying their loans.
